White Til Seeds

White sesame seeds, or white til seeds, are widely used in cooking, baking, and oil extraction due to their rich flavor and nutritional benefits. They are packed with calcium, iron, and healthy fats, making them a valuable addition to various dishes, including tahini and sweets. The seeds also contribute to sesame oil production, which is highly valued in culinary and medicinal uses.

Produces small green shoots that grow into tall plants with narrow leaves.

Ready in 80-100 days. Harvested when pods dry, and seeds are collected after sun-drying.

Seeds are sown at a depth of 1-2 cm in well-drained soil with 25-30 cm row spacing. Requires warm climate and moderate irrigation.

Kharif (June-July) & Rabi (September-October)
