Crop Innovation: Introduced high-yielding paddy, wheat, hybrid maize, chemical fertilizers, pesticides, sprayers, dusters, and improved agri-implements (1967)

High-yielding varieties of paddy, wheat, and hybrid maize were introduced in Jharkhand in 1967.

Chemical fertilizers and pesticides were first promoted among farmers the same year.
